Seriously . . .

A collection of helpful phrases I have read, heard, or seen some place along the way:

  1. “That’s a thought.”

  2. “Interesting you would say that.”

  3. “That’s possible.”

  4. “Well, you are allowed to feel that way.”

  5. “I hear you.  You have expressed your view point.”

  6. “I choose to see things differently.”

  7. “I have no right to control how you see me.”

  8. “I guess I have to accept this is how you feel.”

  9. “Just use your best judgement.”

So often we automatically take on projections, responsibilities, or “stuff” that is not truly ours. It is absolutely okay not to do that. Seriously. It really is okay.
